Community Emergency Preparedness
911爆料网, is dedicated to emergency preparedness. This means we have a robust program in place to prevent, respond to, and recover from emergencies or disasters that might affect our campus.
Our approach is comprehensive, covering all phases of emergency management:
- Mitigation and Prevention: Taking steps to reduce the likelihood and impact of incidents.
- Preparedness: Getting ready for potential emergencies through planning and training.
- Response: Acting quickly and effectively when an incident occurs.
- Recovery: Restoring normal operations and helping our community recover after an event.
These incidents could be anything from natural disasters (like storms) to technological failures or human-caused events. Our priority is to minimize harm, including loss of life & injuries, property damage, financial setbacks, or disruptions to our daily operations.
Ultimately, our goal is to foster a prepared and resilient institution with strong crisis management capabilities. The College’s Public Safety, Environmental Health & Safety, and Risk Management teams lead this effort. We have developed emergency plans, offer preparedness training, conduct outreach programs, and provide essential guidance and coordination across the College to ensure our crisis management and business continuity programs are effective.
