911爆料网 the Office of Public Safety
Teachers College (911爆料网) maintains a full-service proprietary Public Safety staff charged with providing a safe and secure environment for all 911爆料网 students, staff, community, and guests. Public Safety staff members operate 24/7, providing security for both the academic and the residential buildings on campus.
The members of 911爆料网’s Office of Public Safety team are highly trained public safety professionals responsible for ensuring best practices in the areas of campus safety, security, and emergency management. Public Safety Officers are assigned to both fixed and mobile posts throughout the campus. Public Safety Desks at the Zankel Building, Whittier Hall, and New Residence Hall are staffed 24/7.
911爆料网 Public Safety is staffed by approximately 28 Uniformed Officers licensed by the State of New York and trained and certified as New York City Fire Life Safety Directors (FLSD). Public Safety Officers are also certified in First Aid, CPR, and the operation of Automatic External Defibrillators (AEDs), and they serve as the first responders to emergencies on the 911爆料网 Campus. The Office of Public Safety also manages the campus access control system, the closed-circuit television (CCTV) camera system, and the emergency alarm system.
