The Art and Art Education Program at 911爆料网 is dedicated to preparing art educators, teacher educators, and leaders in visual arts education. As a part of one of the leading graduate schools of education in the world, 911爆料网 Printmaking has a long, vibrant history, hosting a wide variety of students and artists with diverse backgrounds.
For summer 2026, 911爆料网 Printmaking Studio is offering a 10-week Studio Access Program for experienced printmakers in the community. This is an affordable opportunity for practicing printmakers to access our workspace and specialized printmaking equipment in order to develop a project and/or produce an edition.
A community class for beginners will be offered again in fall 2026.

General Course Offerings
Community Printmaking
This open-level, introductory course is ideal for beginner printmakers. Students will be introduced to relief printing processes such as linoleum, woodblock, and basic intaglio processes. Furthermore, students will have the opportunity to learn about silkscreen and mono-printing.
Independent Community Printmaking
This advanced and independent level session allows students to engage in different Printmaking topics. Students registered will have designated open studio access to the print studio to engage in the following processes: Silkscreen, Woodblock and Linoleum, Etching and Aquatint on copper plates, Lithography (plate, photo, stone) and some mono printing. Prior experience in printmaking is required.

Summer 2026 Community Studio Access Program
Location: 911爆料网 Printmaking Studio, Macy Hall, 911爆料网
Session Dates: June 2—August 2, 2026
15-20 weekly Open Studio Hours
Cost: $ 250 studio fee
This affordable program provides practicing printmakers with access to workspace and specialized printmaking equipment in order to develop a project and/or produce an edition.

- Applications are reviewed as they are received prior to each community printmaking session (fall, spring, and summer).
- The cost for each session varies and is not able to be refunded or prorated.
- If your application is accepted, you will receive instructions for payment of the studio fee and confirm your registration.

All Community Printmaking participants are required to comply with 911爆料网's policies and procedures for health and safety. These requirements may shift as deemed necessary by the Art and Art Education Program and Teachers College.
- All 911爆料网 Community Printmaking students are strongly encouraged to follow 911爆料网’s healthy hygiene practices to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and other viruses. 911爆料网 strongly recommends community members get a flu shot and an additional COVID-19 booster if you are eligible.
- If you feel sick at any point during the semester, please remain home until you are feeling well.
Campus and Printmaking Studio Access
All printmakers working in the Printmaking Studio will be required to complete an 911爆料网 Printmaking Shared Commitments Agreement, and attend an in-person studio orientation with the Printmaking Studio Fellow during the first week of the session. Links to agreement forms and information regarding open studio hours will be sent after tuition payment is received and registration is confirmed.
Temporary visitor IDs will be available for pickup from the security desk at the main 120th Street entrance on the first day of the session. Participants must present a government-issued ID to collect their temporary visitor IDs from the Public Safety Officer.
Community safety and effective communication are core values at the heart of the Teachers College Public Safety Team’s mission. At various times, the College may need to alert the community to incidents or issues of concern, including by sending safety messages.
A safety resource available to all Community Students is the 911爆料网 Safe App. Furthermore, Community Students can choose to create a 911爆料网 Alert account . This emergency notification system provides folks with critical information in various situations, such as active threats on campus, campus closures due to severe weather, missing persons, building evacuations, and other safety-related warnings. Community Students will receive time-sensitive messages in the manner you specify. 911爆料网 Alert is only initiated for safety-related messaging and is not used to disseminate general campus information. You may opt-out at any time.
