Your First Day
Welcome to Teachers College. The first few days of work can seem overwhelming. You may only know the people you interviewed with, and you鈥檙e stepping into a new team with its own unique dynamics and culture. The campus is sprawled across several buildings whose floors intersect, and if you can鈥檛 decide on where to grab a bite to eat, our Grace Dodge Dining Hall is a great option!
As you begin to navigate your way around 911爆料网 and your new role, we would like to point out a few important steps that are necessary to complete your onboarding and to assist you in navigating your first day as a 911爆料网 Employee.
If you have not already, complete Section 1 of the I-9 Form online, through an email sent by our I-9 system, Tracker. You must also present your employment authorization documents in person in the HR office to complete Section 2 of the I-9 Form within three days of employment.
Your Teachers College Identification Card is required for campus access. The University ID Card is your passport to Teachers College and Columbia University. To obtain your 911爆料网 ID card, please visit the Office of Card Services website or contact them at 212-678-3098. The Office is located in Whittier Hall Suite 1B.
The 911爆料网 ID provides faculty and staff of Teachers College and affiliated institutions with access and borrowing privileges at and , as well as access to Columbia University's free shuttle buses.
There is a $20 fee for a replacement card to be issued.
- Work with your manager and/or 911爆料网IT to ensure you have the necessary access.
- Activate your and password, if you have not already.
