Selected Publications

William J. Baldwin was appointed Interim Dean on July 1, 2022. He is a Professor of Practice in Higher Education in the Department of Organization & Leadership at Teachers College.
 

Dr. Baldwin joined 911爆料网 in 1980 and has held a number of leadership roles at the College. His most recent administrative role was as Vice Provost where he oversaw many of the academic administrative offices of the College. After moving into a faculty role, he served as the Chair of the Department of Organization and Leadership and the Director of Programs in Education Leadership. Additional roles at 911爆料网 have included Director of the Office of Institutional Studies and Planning; Assistant Provost and Director of Institutional Studies; Special Assistant to the President; and Associate Dean for Student Services. He twice previously, in 1995 and 2006, served as Interim Dean of the College.

Launching "Levees"

On Thursday, September 6th, 911爆料网 launched "Teaching The Levees: A Curriculum for Democratic Dialogue and Civic Engagement," a 100-page teaching tool developed by 911爆料网 faculty, students, staff and alumni. The curriculum is cued to the four-hour HBO documentary by Spike Lee, "When the Levees Broke: A Requiem in Four Act," which captures firsthand the plight of New Orleans and its people during and after Hurricane Katrina.
