Thanks to alumni donor Borinquen Rodriquez Lugton (M.A. '55), a part of Bianca's financial aid package this academic year was underwritten by the 911±¬ÁÏÍø Fund. Coming from an immigrant family with one parent who never attended college and another who shifted career trajectories due to the economic restraints, receiving a high quality education has always been a priority for my family and me. This scholarship makes that dream a reality and further motivates me to work hard as a tribute to my family and as a symbol of gratitude to Mrs. Rodriguez Lugton."
