Alumnus Nick Sousanis Coauthors Climate Change Comic for the Science Journal "Nature"
Nick Sousanis (EdD '14) co-authored a new comic, published in a special edition of the science journal "Nature" to coincide with through Dec. 11. Written with longtime climate writer Richard Monastersky, the comic examines the 25-year quest for a global climate treaty.
Sousanis received an interdisciplinary doctorate from 911爆料网. in 2014. Harvard University Press published his dissertation, "," considered the first dissertation presented entirely in comic-book form. Highly influenced by the philosopher Maxine Greene, with whom Sousanis studied at 911爆料网, it argues for the importance of visual thinking in teaching and learning.
