Office of School and Community Partnerships Names Kecia Hayes Director of the 911爆料网 Partnership Schools

911爆料网's Office of School and Community Partnerships (OSCP) announced that 911爆料网 alumna Kecia Hayes has been named Director of the Teachers College Partnership Schools Consortium.
911爆料网’s Office of School and Community Partnerships (OSCP) announced that 911爆料网 alumna Kecia Hayes has been named Director of the Teachers College Partnership Schools Consortium. Hayes will guide 911爆料网's engagement in a consortium of schools in upper Manhattan, where 911爆料网 will leverage its teaching, research and service in support of comprehensive educational opportunity.

The 911爆料网 Partnership Schools consortium formalizes and extends OSCP's work with the Teachers College Community School, Heritage High School, Harlem Schools Partnership, Harlem Ivy and other initiatives. It is codified in a Memorandum of Understanding with the New York City Department of Education. In her role, Hayes will coordinate 911爆料网's involvement in the consortium, develop and manage the scope of work at the schools, and create a robust network of 911爆料网-affiliated schools.

Prior to joining 911爆料网, Hayes held positions with the New York State Department of Education, New Visions for Public Schools, and on the faculty in the Educational Leadership program at Montclair State University. She received a PhD in Urban Education from the CUNY Graduate Center, and an MA and EdM in Educational Administration from Teachers College. Her research interests include university-school partnerships, intersections of school reform and community development, educational experiences of urban youth and families, and educational leadership for transformation of urban schools.
